Primary Musical Drama: Eureka
Every year, the primary students perform high-quality musical dramas as part of their after-school activity program.
Students are involved in every aspect of the production, including plot development, writing dialogue and songs and creating choreography.
In March, 2011, over 400 students, staff and parents watched the Primary Musical Drama production of the Wild West Musical: Eureka! The gold rush was never this big!
P6-P8 students told the main story of the 1849 California Gold Rush and the hopeful “Forty-niners” who came west looking to get rich quick. P5 students were the unhappily displaced squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, beavers, deer and wolves, and the P4 students sang a couple of traditional “Cowboy” ballads of the pioneer days. | |
