Originally from Scotland, where I taught for several years, I spent three years teaching in Russia and four years teaching in Taiwan before coming to TISA two years ago. I really enjoy being part of the TISA family and learning from my enthusiastic students and colleagues. Baku is a very interesting place to be; steeped in the history and culture of Azerbaijan.

I have taught in Kazakhstan, Moldova, Belarus, and the USA. Working as an educator is rewarding. Students are creative, unique and approach each day with a sense of wonder and inquiry. I love it when I can help them think creatively and exceed their own great expectations. My drama activities are my biggest hobby. TISA Primary students have collaborated on writing and performing eight musical dramas.

I am from Liverpool in England, so it is no suprise that I am a Liverpool (LFC) supporter! My last post was at an International School in London. I have also taught in Bangkok, Kuwait and Yokohama. This is my first year at TISA and I am so excited about teaching P5 and living in Baku.
