IB Diploma Visit to London

Students of Diploma Art and Theatre are given the opportunity to participate in an educational visit to London. The aim of the visit is to give the Diploma students exposure to a variety of professional, artistic styles. Both Art and Theatre students benefit from this exposure as it enhances their appreciation of the art forms and, in some cases, influences the direction of their study. This annual visit is designed with clear connections to IB assessment in mind; all activities feed into, in some way, each of the IB Diploma assessments. Although students are not required to join this educational visit in order to pass the course, participation is highly recommended.

MYP Arts Visit to London

The Creative Arts department also arranges an annual educational visit, designed to increase students’ exposure to, and enjoyment of, each of the three Art forms. Students will participate in a variety of workshops, see a selection of performance styles and enjoy a myriad of exhibitions that will help them to review their understanding of ‘What is Art?’

The visit is open to all M1 – M5 students and usually runs toward the end of term three.
