The Mission Statement of both the International Baccalaureate and TISA stress that education extends beyond intellectual achievement and aims to develop in our students:
· Sensitivity to the needs of the community and society in general
· Awareness of the role of the individual within a community
· A willingness and the skills to respond to the needs of others
· An altruistic attitude which enriches the life of the student through enhanced insight into different social patterns and ways of life

In guiding our students to become lifelong learners and positive contributors to their local and global communities, we provide numerous opportunities through our Community and Service and CAS programmes. This year we are involved in numerous projects including M1 visits to Ishegli Ev Street Kids’ Center, M2s working with Jabrayil IDP school, M3s painting the playground at Mashtaga orphanage, M4s working with TISA Primary School students to create innovative play areas and the M5s again participating in the Spring trip to Ganja to work with the UK-based charity CARD.
