Inclusion Belief Statement
At TISA, embracing diversity is fundamental to who we are. We value the varied visible and non-visible identities of our community including age, body shape and size, ethnicity, family make-up, gender identity and expression, language, nationality, neurodiversity, physical ability, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. We acknowledge that our individual experiences make us unique, but also recognize internal biases. Our students, teaching and support staff, administration and parents are committed to engaging in a continuous process of improvement and growth to create an equitable, safe environment that will have a positive impact on our school, community and wider world.
Our Strategic Plan
During the 2021-2022 school year, TISA embarked on a comprehensive strategic planning process to bring our vision for the future to life. This plan outlines strategic objectives and strategies to achieve our desired future. Additionally, we developed belief statements for each of our five pillars. As a guiding document, our Strategic Plan keeps us focused on our goals.
The development of our strategic plan was a collaborative effort, involving input from all our stakeholders, including staff, students, and parents. Each year, we analyze multiple data points, review our progress and adjust our action steps accordingly.
Our strategic plan is structured around five key pillars, each representing a vital area of TISA’s operations that directly influences our ability to fulfill our vision and mission. Each pillar is accompanied by a belief statement, crafted during our strategic planning process.

Based on the work and needs of TISA, the Strategic Plan was updated in May, 2024 with minor adjustments. Beginning in June, 2024, TISA produces an Annual Report that provides a summary of our progress towards accomplishing our goals.
