For more than 25 years since its establishment, The International School of Azerbaijan has been attracting excellent employees who share our passion for education and are willing and able to engage, empower, inspire our students and community both in the classroom and beyond. Vacancy Announcements:

Substitute Teachers

The Secondary School is looking for substitute teachers.  Ideally, a candidate would be willing to serve as an on-call substitute starting as soon as possible and then move into a long-term sub role (see the start date).

Requirements for Long-term Substitute Teacher of MYP Drama and DP Theatre Arts (starts in December 2024):

  • A university degree
  • Teacher certification
  • Middle/High School Teaching experience (Performing Arts and IB experience is desired)
  • Excellent English (native or near-native level)

Requirements for Long-term Substitute Teacher of History (starts in January 2025):

  • A university degree
  • Teacher certification
  • Teaching Experience in IB MYP and DP
  • Excellent English (native or near-native level)
