MAP Testing
MAP is an international norm-referenced assessment aligned with TISA’s standards. Testing takes place twice a year, typically in September and May. We use our MAP data to monitor student progress and guide instructional decisions. Once the testing window is closed, individual student data is shared with parents. Results are reviewed by teachers, administration and the Board of Governors. A summary of the results is shared in TISA’s Annual Report. TISA students’ scores are comparable to other CEESA schools and show expected growth over time.
We are very proud of recent MAP results. A large number of students are over the 80th percentile with most of the school students performing over the 71st percentile. 61% of our students showed growth over the 60th percentile.
