High School

Students select from the broad, balanced and rigorous MYP courses: Language & Literature, World Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Individuals & Societies, Arts, Design and Physical & Health Education. Students also have opportunities to specialize in the Arts and develop their Azerbaijani language or individual interests through our electives in the Arts, Business and Computer Science.

At TISA, we engage our high school students in real-world, relevant learning. This culminates in the MYP Personal Project in Grade 10, a six month independent project exploring an area of interest and culminating in an extended report externally moderated by the IB. At TISA, we take the Personal Project to another level, assessing student products on their growth and their impact on our community.

At TISA we believe that learning should support students in designing their future. TISA students can pursue learning in their areas of interest that prepare them for their future.

At the end of grade 10, all TISA students and their families have an individual planning session with our counselor and coordinator to design a pathway that meets their needs. All TISA students pursue the TISA High School Diploma. They also have an opportunity to add the IB Diploma or the TISA Honors Diploma depending on their individual interests and ambitions.
