What could be better than to learn with joy through art and self-expression? The P3 children were truly ingenious, innovative and mastered the strategy of thinking “outside the box” when they inquired into how our imagination and experiences inspire creativity. On the February 12th, they invited their families and friends to their Art Show to celebrate their learning. What a great event it was! The children performed on stage and shared their visual artwork along with their reflections.
The P3 classes have been working hard on developing their understandings, knowledge and skills in the How We Express Ourselves unit of inquiry. Within this unit, the children inquired into different ways to express themselves through creating. They learned that we can create in many ways: through drawing and painting, singing and playing instruments, dancing and acting, creating with clay, empty boxes and blocks, writing stories and coding, and creating puppet shows
