TISA's DP Theatre students were delighted to watch a dance performance by the group, "Deaf Men Dancing." "Mutt and Jeff" (Cockney rhyming slang for DEAF) delighted the international audience at the Yarat Contemporary Art Space.

Not only was Deaf Men Dancing an educational and insightful performance, it was light-hearted and full of laughs.

The performance shared messages about how we should treat deaf people. The event was sponsored by the British Council as part of their disability awareness programme. The performers used British Sign Language, as well as slapstick, mime, physical theatre and dance to delight and educate.

It was truly an amazing opportunity to see performers who were innovative and exciting in their work. They used a wide range of dance and mime to create a truly unforgettable show.
