The annual STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics) Fair traditionally brings TISA Secondary School's academic year to a close, and this year our students made it BIGGER and BETTER than ever before. One hundred twenty-two projects graced the Old Gym exhibition space from M1, M2 and M3 students - and that is not everything. This year, the DP1s joined their younger peers in a pursuit for innovation, initiative and ingenuity as they travelled to the mountains of Gabala and looked at the science of ski slopes, waterfalls, snow machines and much more. What a way to finish the year!

This year's STEM Fair occupies a unique place in our students academic year. It's a trans-disciplinary initiative, bringing together input from different departments, driving collaboration between students with different academic passions, strengths and initiatives. With the DP1s pitching in and collaborating with younger students from all three sciences, the STEM Fair has also become a whole school celebration that engages the students beyond their grade or subject; empowers them to manage their STEM project to completion; and inspires the scientist, tech-guru, engineer, and mathematician in each of us.
