Under the Central idea - Artists are knowledgeable about materials and techniques. P6 and 7 are exploring the concepts of form and function and the related concepts of perspective, proportion, composition, techniques, materials and narrative.

During art class, children ask questions and solve problems, extending each child’s knowledge of specific tools and techniques. Some questions which we have already explored this year include,  What are shadows and how do they change? What is perspective and how can I make my art look more realistic? You can see some of P7's explorations into answering these questions.
